| On the UK national tour and West End showings of Zorro the Musical, Bryan was appointed Aerial Director and High Performance facilitated the installation of 8 tons of automation, lighting and sound during the tour period. Zorro the Musical then enjoyed a critically acclaimed and Olivier Award winning West End season and featured in the 2008 Royal Variety Show at the London Palladium for the BBC with flying by High Performance. During the Royal Variety Show High Performance also flew R & B music sensation ‘Rihanna’. |
| Simultaneously, High Performance facilitated the aerial rigging and performer flying on Treasure Island at the Theatre Royal in London and The Histories, (a two year long ensemble project by The Royal Shakespeare Company). Headed by Joe Hull and Steve Robinson, High Performance were instrumental in facilitating the aerial performer flying effects during the Stratford upon Avon seasons culminating with a run at the Roundhouse in London. In both instances we worked closely with the production team and Mat Costain (actor, aerial performer & rope director for the RSC and on Treasure Island) to develop ideas, create new techniques and facilitate all their rigging requirements. The shows were a critical success. |
